Visa and Papiere

  • I just came to Germany for study.I have a german national visa(type D) and I´m already registered(Anmeldung bei der Meldebehörde) in `Rathaus`May I go for weekends to other countries for example to Italy,Spain,Belgium or I need a visa to visit these countries?

    I believe you are allowed to move freely in all of the EU. Snce you have a visa, and are allowed to be in the specified country, I don't see why not- unless it depends on what country you are from(?). If I come across any concrete info related to this, I will post it.
