Child custody issues after divorse

• Indian male and Omani girl currently in oman unfortunatly filing divorse soon, they have a 1 and half year old boy.if any one can help and let me know who will be able to have custody of the child legally and according to sharia after divorse and what are the legal procedures if father wants to keep the childs custody. Help from any one sound regarding this matter would be really helpful and will be highly appreciated.

  it depends upon the religeous faith and financial status of mother and father of that child.
