Information on pet dogs in Muscat please. We are brining our pet dog to Muscat.
Are there safe boarding kennels that can look after your pet dog?
Are there vets, is dog food available?
Is it OK to take dogs to the beach ?

Pets in Muscat
Hi
Just read your email not sure if you still need the info, we are moving to Oman in 2 weeks time with a dog and have received lots of info. Yes there are kennels and though they say dogs need to be kept indoors in the summer due to hear, it is safe to take them with you, lots of Ex pats do. I have info on vets also if you still require it. Have a word with your own vet who should be able to tell you what your dog needs and also give you contact details in Oman. Feel free to email if you need further help. Not sure about taking dogs on the beach, but you can take them out and about and yes dog food is available but perhaps not the selection that you woould get in the UK. Good luck with it all.Anonymous 2 06 Jun 2007, 11:40 - Report -

Kennel - phone number
I think there is a kennel behind Sultan Center beside the vet. It's kindof hard to find, but you can call at 24699079. Good luck.

dog walkers
I'm looking for a dog sitter while on vacation for two weeks. I have two dogs and a cat and they will need to be fed and walked. All except the cat. I have looked at the kennals and I don't think I would leave my dogs there. It's very clean but highly noisy.
