Visa for Thai Spouse

• Could anyone advise me as to how difficult it is to obtain a visa for my Thai wife. A UK Citizen, I will be coming to Oman in August to take up a 2 year employment contract. My wife who is currently resident in Thailand would at least like to visit Oman, or perhaps to stay long term. How difficult is this to do? Does anyone know the procedure?
