The actual process of getting a Visa - where to go, what to bring?

  I have both a sponsor and a job lined up for me in Qatar. My sponsor has to obtain, both my NOC (No objection certificate) and first my Visit Visa, and then my Work Visa. I am wondering how he goes about doing this? What buildings does he need to visit and what documentation does he need to provide, and what is the time frame processing takes?
