Since 1975, the Servicio de Telecomunicaciones de Andorra (now Andorra Telecom) has been the public operator in charge of all management, and implementation of telecommunication services in Andorra.
Andorran services for internet and telephone are considerably more expensive than in other European countries, due to the monopoly that Andorra Telecom has in the market. Due to the fact that Andorra does not belong to the EU, European regulations do not apply to Andorra Telecom.
As mentioned earlier, Andorra Telecom is the exclusive telecommunication (internet, telephone, TV) provider of the country. Its website is available in English, Spanish and Catalan. Most of the services provided are though fibre optic cables. When deciding to receive internet services, you can also choose to receive a landline telephone and television.

With regards to ADSL internet, there is one other major provider, STA . STA mostly targets companies but is also available for individuals. You can visit their website for more information, but it is only available in Catalan. Prices vary from €34 to €139 per month, including internet speeds ranging from 1Mbps up to 4Mbps.
There are several possible types of contract (Forfait) for mobile phones in Andorra from Andorra Telecom.
