Canadian elections, liberals vs. conservatives

• I understand that the current government of Canada (LIBERAL) is under fire by a corruption case that dates back a few years ago. I am worried that if the conservatives win, they will take a different view on immigration. It has been documented that conservative governments are anti-immigration. Does this hold true in Canada?
