British spouse visa. Complicated application please help!

  • Hi everyone,

Me and my wife are going to submit an application for a spouse visa and would appreciate it if you could help us with that. If you could let me know the answers to the below questions that would be great.

Background info - I met my wife back in July she is a chinese national. We lived together for 1 year before returning to China where we got married. I now want to return to the UK with her.

    1. We have been together now for 14 months - married for 2months, is this long enough time to be considered.

    2. I as her sponsor is currently out of work due to me coming out to china to stay with her/also travel. I currently have 30k british pounds sterling in my bank account and she has 20k sterling in hers. Will mine/her savings be enough to prove we will not need to seek public funds. Also note I hold a BA hons degree and have work experience/references. My last 2 years of work will show i have earned over 45k sterling. She also has british references and holds customer care nvq certificates.

    3. The evidence required to prove that the house is owned by whomever, does this need to be an original document or can it be a scanned/photcopied/faxed document? Also does it need to state the number of rooms on it.

    4. My wife has been refused/held british visas before. She came here on a student visa, she then married for 1.5years, the marriage ended and she then applied to stay but was refused (due to lack of evidence of violence which was the reason she ended marriage). When we met she was in the process of leaving but she overstayed so we could spend more time together to have evidence we have lived together - wrong i know but the british/chinese embassy granted amnesty to overstayers if they left between july/oct which she has.

Any help on those four issues would be greatly appreciated as this is causing quite alot of stress as you can imagine.

    thank
