Having dependant visa but still want Uk study visa???/

• Hiya,
  i am marriedmy husband holding HSMP VISA and i have my dependent visa. But unfortunately i had lost my passport when i came to Pakistan last july 2008.NOw i have some presonal problems with my husband and in this situation he is not ready to re-apply for my dependent visa.Now problem is this i want to study in UK. And i dont know wheather if i hold dependent visa...still can i apply for study visa?i ll really appreciate. thnx

  It sounds as if you need to get yourself a new passport, inform the home office that you lost your old one (you should have done that immediately!) and then you can just apply for your student visa... it is really just a change of your immigration status. You may not even need to leave and re-enter the UK, but I am not sure about that.
