Student Dependent Visa as a fiancee

• I am a U.S. citizen and will be marrying a U.S. citizen one week prior to my wife starting graduate school in the U.K. I will be applying for the student dependent visa but will not be married at the time I apply for it and won't yet have a marriage certificate. Do you think I will get a visa if I am able to explain the situation without a marriage certificate?
