PROFILE
A diagnostic radiographer and certified Mammographer who is reliable, trustworthy, motivated and organised. My experience has been gained in demanding and challenging environments, where I have worked both alone and as part of a team. During this time I have gained valuable experience in general and theatre work, dental radiographer and urodynamic studies. I have also achieved my Certificate of Competency in Mammography. Throughout my career I have developed strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be flexible and work as part of a team. I am a highly resourceful person who has the ability to use my own initiative and work under extreme pressure. I am able to make prompt decisions in clinical and non-clinical areas. CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Whilst employed at BUPA Roding hospital I was deputy manager and acted as manager for six months, whilst the manager was off sick.
Currently my responsibilities include arranging cover and organising the daily diary for the whole radiology department (plain X-rays, interventional suite, fluoroscopy suite and theatre cover). Making appointments for patients and organising their preparation. Chaperoning during ultrasounds. Ordering stock from pharmacy. Organising and taking part in on call Rota.
I have extensive theatre experience including Orthopaedic, Urology, pain clinics & neurosurgery. I have worked within many clinical settings: Chest clinic, screening rooms, IVU rooms, pain clinics, operating theatres, dental units, accident & emergency and urodynamic consultations.
I have achieved my Certificate of Competency in Mammography and maintain the Quality Assurance programme for the mammography department where necessary.
In 2003, I gained a diploma from the National College of Holistic Medicine in Colonic Hydrotherapy.

POST GRADUATE EXPERIENCE
I am fully up to date with my CPD including Basic life support ( adult and paediatric), needlestick injury, manual handling, fire training and health and safety.

CAREER OBJECTIVES
To develop and extend my skills within all aspects of Radiology. To maintain a high quality of radiographic imaging. To provide patients with a high standard of care.

INTERESTS
I enjoy yoga, going to the gym and walking with my dog. I like socialising with my friends and meeting new people. I also work at a clinic specialising in Colonic Hydrotherapy, which I do out of working hours.
