No problem with gays in Croatia

• Over the last decades Croatia has undergone unprecedented progress. Since the fall of Communism in the late 1980s and the struggle for independence and democracy in the early 1990s our life has taken on a new dimension. The gay scene has begun to develop in Zagreb and the society is moving towards liberation in its view of homosexuality. In recent years Croatia has become a popular holiday destination for gays and lesbians around the world. Fascinated by the hospitality of its small but welcoming and friendly gay community, the clean water of the Adriatic as well as the possibility to experience some of the most beautiful scenery to be found on the European continent, they return year after year.
