well i live in croatia and im 21 yrs old. i think croatia is one of the safest countries in europe. our murder rate is very low- almost none. so what ever stories you heard about croatia being unsafe is lie. i heard that italian news reported something about croatia being unsafe- but you must understand we are theirs no 1 summer holiday concurent. so you can feel free and walk safe every day and every night wherever you want.
