Visitors Visa Extension

• You can extend your visitors visa for another 90 days (if you received a 90 day visa upon entering). The visa needs to be extended on a tourist visa.
  If you are doing voluntary work, you can apply for a volunteers visa for a maximum of 3 years (extended visitors visa category). Technically you are not allowed to work on a 'normal' tourist visa. Therefore you would have to apply for the volunteers visa.
