Living in the US
-
Hi there, I'm Belgian and have lived in the US since 5 years, together with my French boyfriend. Yes, you can eat other things than fast food - depending on where you are in the US, you can find excellent european and asian cuisine. Also, the more American Steakhouses are great if you're into eating fresh meat. It's a big misunderstanding about the US fast food: you only eat it if YOU want to, otherwise you have plenty of other options. About W Bush - same thing: depends on where you are in the US and who you're talking to... One more thing: Americans are a lot more polite than French / Belgian people, they say hi, thanks, goodbye, have a nice day, you're welcome A LOT MORE often
Hope this helps, bonne chance!An 17 Aug 2007, 09:56 - Report
