There are some places that might help you find an accomodation in Hamburg.
There's an extensive number of sites giving an overview of flats for rent etc. like the Hamburger Abendblatt's Immonet http://immonet.abendblatt.de/ or http://www.immobilienscout24.de . It'll help if you know which part of Hamburg you will be teaching in, though.
